Formed under the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, the Society was registered in 1995 with the vision of creating a secure, harmonious, and progressive living environment for its members. Over the years, the residents have worked collectively to enhance infrastructure, ensure safety, and foster a sense of unity.

1. Legal Identity
Palm Beach Co-operative Housing Society Ltd. is a registered co-operative body under Section 9 of the MCS Act, 1960.
It operates under the jurisdiction of CIDCO and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, and is governed by:

2. Objectives as per Bye-Law 4:
To manage, maintain, and administer the society’s property.
To raise funds for achieving the objects of the society.
To undertake repairs, redevelopment, or reconstruction of the building.
To promote a spirit of mutual help, goodwill, and community living.
3. Governance Framework
The society follows cooperative principles of democratic decision-making, equal voting rights, and transparency through duly held Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and Special General Meetings (SGMs) as per Sections 73 & 75 of the MCS Act.

Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 – Primary law governing all CHS matters.
Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Rules, 1961 – Rules framed under the Act.
Government Resolutions (GRs) – Particularly the GR dated 04 July 2019 on Redevelopment of Co-operative Housing Societies.
Model Bye-Laws (Revised 2014 / 2023) – Applicable as adopted by the society.
